I'm not sure what we did to deserve this slice of heaven in January, but the last few days have been positively balmy! Though we haven't seen much sun, this week's overcast days have offered highs in the low 70s. Gorgeous! Would you believe...surfers?
Those swells are gigantic for this area. I haven't seen many legit surfers on the Gulf, but these guys managed to ride a few.
We may have to install a revolving door in our home, if word gets out that it really is nice enough to play at the beach, even now...
Right after the below snapshot, Bitty got nailed by a wave primed to strike.
I just love the look of wonder on the kids' faces as they watch the tiny clams -- washed up between waves -- dig frantically into the sand.
I wouldn't trade these days for anything...
