My Brief Soapbox and Step 3 of the GIVEAWAY!!

My favorite soap

I think we're all WORN OUT from the election!  Regardless of your candidate of choice, I bet you're as sick of politics as the next person.  I'm always torn between my pride in the process -- our political system is, after all, the baseline evidence of American vision and ingenuity --
and my disgust with the choices who filter to the top of the pile.

In My Other Life, as a member of the U.S. military, I serve to protect that most fundamental right to choose our leaders, or as many like to quip "the lesser of two evils."  No matter what you felt about the candidates, I hope you voted.  In my mind, it's the purest civic duty.  If you don't like the candidates, run, but don't shirk a right that so many died to defend and for which much of the world would give anything.

So here's my only request and then I'll get off my soapbox.  (You like how I did that?)  ;)  Please, PLEASE vote every chance you get.  And if you didn't vote in this election, please don't complain to me about anything the federal government does over the next four years.  Fair enough?  :)

Okay, enough of that serious stuff.  Who's ready for Christmas!?  I can't believe it's that time of year again already.  Want to win a free handmade baby gift for someone in your life?  Want to hoard it for yourself?  (I won't tell your secret.)  Winning couldn't possibly be any easier.  You have three chances.

Remember, you must complete Step #1 before you can enter via Step #2 and then Step #3:

Step #1:  Follow my blog by email, then comment below to let me know you did.  See that little window in the top left corner?  That's where you follow.  (If you're already an email follower, leave me a comment letting me know.  That counts!)

Step #2:  Like the JSO Facebook page, then leave a comment telling me you did.  If you're already a facebook fan, leave a comment letting me know!

Step #3:  Leave a comment on the original posting linked here telling me which of these sets you would choose and why.   The sets include a pretty brown damask-esque (say that five times fast) pattern, a cute world-traveler themed fabric and a Christmas-ey red and white.

As a rule of thumb, any time you enter a contest here and comment, you must submit your email address in the labeled box of the comment form.  It will not be published for everyone in the world to see, but that allows me to get in touch with you when you win!  :)
I can't wait to see who wins!!
